Job grading. Which job, which scale, which salary?
The FWHZ handbook has reference jobs and a matrix of function levels, from cleaner to programme manager. Choose the group and the job, and you see the scale and the salary. If the job is not listed, you choose the scale yourself.

Frequently asked questions
You compare the job with the reference jobs and the function matrix of the FWHZ handbook. A level applies if its criteria largely apply, for more than half. The function level is the number of the salary scale (articles 12.1 and 12.2).
Within 28 days the employee can ask in writing for reconsideration. You give an opportunity to explain within 14 days and decide within 28 days after that. The employee can then object to the FWHZ committee within 28 days, with a fee of €500 for union members or €750. If the employee is proved right, you refund it (articles 12.3 and 12.4).
The salary in the new, higher scale is at least one salary number higher than in the old scale (article 4.4). The step then starts on the date of promotion (article 4.6).
A doctor's assistant in day practice gets one extra salary step, a triagist at an out-of-hours post two, and after a year of good performance one more. That applies in scales 4 and 5, also above the maximum. Triagist C in scale 6 gets one extra step (article 4.5).
Would you rather we handled it?
We run payroll for GP practices, health centres and care groups under the GP care cao: scales and steps, irregular hours and ANW supplements, overtime per quarter, holiday pay in May, the year-end bonus in December, the PLB, the PFZW pension and the SSFH contribution. Tell us how many people you employ. You'll hear back within one working day.
