Sectors. Accounting that knows the rules of your trade.
Every trade has its own rules on VAT, staff and liability. For each sector, we show which questions come up and what Alvelion handles for you.
Request an introductory meetingWhy per sector?
A roofer and a plumber both do skilled work. Yet their accounting differs.
For one it is about winter and the G account, for the other about certifications and the van. The basis is the same: figures that are right, returns on time and one dedicated contact.
For the grouping, we follow the SBI codes of Statistics Netherlands (CBS). The names on our site are shorter, so you find your trade quickly.
Does this sound familiar?
Three signs that your accounting does not fit your trade.
-
An accountant who doesn't know your trade
Then you explain yourself what reverse-charged VAT is, or why your winter is quiet.
-
Rules that differ per trade
A collective labour agreement, a certification or a VAT rule of its own. If you miss one, you often only see it afterwards.
-
Growth without overview
A first employee or a second van changes your figures. Without a forecast, you see it too late.
With a team that knows your sector, the conversation is about your business, not about the basics.
What stays the same, and what differs per trade
The same for everyone
Are your figures right?
Bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns and annual accounts run the same fixed way for every business.
Per sector
Does your team know your trade?
VAT rules, collective labour agreements, certifications and seasons differ per trade. We take that into account from the start.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. Our work is the same for every business: bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns and advice. On our sector pages, we explain what comes on top for each trade.
We follow the SBI classification of Statistics Netherlands (CBS). Each sector gets a short name, so you find your trade quickly.
With that code, the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) records what your business does. A roofer has 43.41.0, for example, and a plumber 43.22.1 (SBI 2025). Check on your extract that the code is right.
For businesses that are growing, with 2 to 15 people. That is when staff, a collective labour agreement and more rules come in. That is exactly where we help.
For starters, we have the Vakwerk guides: Nº 01 for plumbers and Nº 02 for roofers and roof builders. You buy them as a PDF in our web shop, for €149 excl. VAT per guide.
