Frequently asked questions
The cao does not regulate probation, so the law applies: no probation for a contract of 6 months or less, 1 month for a contract up to 2 years and 2 months for 2 years or longer or a permanent contract. The contract states whether there is probation (article 8).
At most 3 in 36 months, with a break of at most 6 months, as in the law. For an employee following a vocational course the chain may be longer: up to 6 years or 6 contracts (article 39).
For the employee 1 month, for the employer 1 to 4 months, depending on the length of service. Notice runs to the last day of the pay period, and the contract does not end in December, unless you agree so in writing (article 9).
